Bed Stuy Fly

A vintage barber chair and a couple of decorative beach-cruiser bikes greet visitors at the door to this handsome streetwear store, with polished-wood floors and tin ceilings. Owner S. King used to run a barber-shop chain called Planet Cuts, where he also sold clothes in the back. He retains a neighborhood feel at his latest retail endeavor, where he works with local designers like Black Tags and Sabit NYC to offer a beautiful selection of colorful checkered and plaid button-downs for both men and women, a limited but tasteful range of PF-Flyers high-tops and some great logo tees, including one that bears the store’s own logo.
