Major Barrett Triangle urban parks

In 1989 the Barrett Memorial was conserved with a $6,000 donation from The Lynne Robbins Steinman Foundation through the Municipal Art Society’s Adopt-a-Monument Program. In 1997 Council Member Jerome X. O’Donovan funded a $13,000 renovation of the triangle, which repaired its sidewalks, paths and pavement. The Clarence T. Barrett Park Zoo, also on Staten Island, commemorates Barrett at the site where he once operated a plant nursery.

Paramount Theater arts

Staten Island Paramount Theater is a Unique 1920's Art Deco Party Hall for all occasions. The hall is huge and spacious enough for as many guests as you invite.

Silver Lake Park parks

Originally created as Staten Island’s response to Manhattan’s Central Park and Brooklyn’s Prospect Park, Silver Lake Park provides abundant recreational activities amidst plenty of trails and open space to wander. It was at the turn of the last century when Staten Island secured funds and began developing the park, and it continues to flourish more than a century later, complete with an 18-hole golf course, tennis courts, sports fields, and many other facilities.
