Receptionist was incredibly rude, Card to door wouldn't work, walls looked like they were covered with urine and soda and smelled like it. P... On their site they show pictures of the lobby and one room. My room was joke compared. Pictures in the room were missing and you could clearly see a black outline of where two were. The light looked as if it were bout to fall off the curtains had cigarette burns. I've stayed at plenty of motel 6's this was by far the most expensive at $129 for one night and the biggest disappointment. We decided one night was enough and drove to Jersey to stay a night before out flight, was $60 a night and somehow better all around. Stayed at 2 Other motel 6's on the way back both were what I expected. If you only need a one night room look on travelocity or other travel sites they usually have last minute deals. My familiarity with motel 6 did not pay off in this case. Also weird that i never got another rate your stay email for my other 3 motel 6's which were very pleasant, maybe to cut off what could be another bad review? Families looking for a stay in New York on a budget this is NOT where u want to go. A little advice would be spend the extra money and go to places that is expensive. U will feel better about not even entering this place. I personally rather sleep in the street than to go to this bed bug motel. Spend the extra money go to a real hotel and enjoy the stay there.
